374. French gilt-brass and porcelain carriage clock, striking and repeating with alarm. Front porcelain panel has painted landscape with temple, side porcelain panels depicting elegant man and woman in garden scenes with applied gold work, all three porcelain panels with white beading, side panels signed L Malpass. Brass case with reeded columns to corners, beveled glass top panel and rear door, eight day movement, 6"h to top of case, 7.75"h to handle, 4.25"w x 4"d, excellent condition.

There are no hairlines or issues with the panels, however there is one white bead missing on the maiden side and one missing in the upper left hand corner of the clock face. The brass surfaces show some expected, even wear from age and handling. We have not discovered any maker's marks on the clock. There is a three-position lever on the bottom to set "silent," "quarters only," or "hours & quarters." The strike is created by a hammer hitting a coil.  There are two hammers and two coils.

375. Ansonia figural mantle clock with two cherubs. Ornate base with drapery interwoven with blossoms and berries hanging over porcelain face and beveled glass front, acanthus feet and architectural ornaments. Patinated statue topper of two large standing cherubs with basket of fruit. Works marked MANUFACTURED BY THE ANSONIA CLOCK CO NEW YORK USA, with A logo mark. 382. Luman Watson 30-hour shelf clock, half-columns with gold stenciled leaves and fruit baskets to bases, glass over mirror to door, raised gold decoration to face. Wood and metal works, impressed TW. Original paper label to interior, reads Improved Clocks Made and Sold by Luman Watson Cincinnati Ohio Warranted If Well Used, with instructions for use and care. 35"h x 16.75"w x 6"d. Some veneer loss, 1" area of depressed wood left side, some losses & staining to paper label but good overall. Some wood teeth worn thin but none missing. A rare Luman Watson clock. 500-1,000

377. Chelsea mantle clock, mahogany case inlaid with medallions and draped bell flowers, glass door over metal face marked HARDY & HAYES CO / PITTSBURGH / CHELSEA, works marked CHELSEA CLOCK CO / BOSTON MASS USA, and 119960. 10.5"h x 23.5"w x 6"d, c.1915-1919, excellent condition. 600-800

380. Camerden & Forster porcelain clock, molded decorations include pair of cornucopias flanking face, flaming urn finial, and acanthus scrolls. Hand painted cherubs over musical motif, gold highlights. Face marked Camerden & Forster New York. Metal spade hands over ornately molded center decoration to face. Bevelled glass. Works marked 6940. 16"h x 11"w x 5"d. Condition: Small spot of restoration to gold trim at base and left front foot; top finial has been cracked and reglued with some loss to rear top. 400-600

Herschede camel back mantle clock, mahogany case with scrolled accents and fancy trim, acanthus scrolls to face, bevelled glass, face marked Bunde & Upmeyer Co Milwaukee and Herschede, works marked Herschede 15900 and patent dates of Jan 28-19 and Oct 21-19, five note chime, key marked Herschede. 11"h x 21"w x 7"d, excellent condition. 300-500
