Meissen clock on stand, monumental hand painted example with courting couple atop reticulated basket weave crown, clock front abundantly decorated with applied blossoms of many varieties, finely executed work in every area including a detailed courting scene to lower front. Sides and back decorated with floral bouquets. Base in same taste and includes insects and butterflies and is beautifully done. Clock and base with crossed sword marks, clock is incised No. 573, impressed 73, base is incised 572, impressed 54, Condition is superb, with some insignificant chips to blossom petals, porcelain face shows two tiny screw holes at III and IX, some roughness at IX, chip to porcelain at XII, Total: 24"h x 14"w x 10"d; Clock itself: 20"h x 9"w x 6"d. 3,000-5,000

Early tall case clock, c.1830, unusual design with brass framed porthole to front, walnut and oak, great early glass, scalloped crown appears to have been replaced years ago, four free-standing columns to bonnet, bracket feet, tole painted metal face with peaches and leaves to each corner and partial world map to top, 83"h x 19"w x 9.25"d, excellent condition. 2,000-3,000

French gold-patinated bronze and alabaster mantle clock, large center finial urn with ram head to front full of blossoms and leaves, flaming urn side finials, cherubs sit at corners, acanthus leaf accents, wreath swags at front, porcelain face with Arabic and Roman numerals marked Lepaute A Paris, bell marked FRANCE, several cracks and chips to porcelain, no glass to face, 14.5"h x 15"w x 5". 400-600
