Willison was born in Brent, KY, and studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati with Duveneck and others.

Carl Samson is a well-respected Cincinnati painter. Among his many famous portraits, his depiction of the Corbetts hangs in Cincinnati Music Hall. He was elected Governing Board Chairman for the American Society of Portrait Artists.

An accomplished painter of Native Americans, Casnelli is also known for his landscapes and Mediterranean scenes. William Howard Taft commissioned Casenelli to paint murals in his home. He started his career in Cincinnati, then moved to Michigan. He spelled his name in varying ways during his career.

Student of Frank Duveneck and brother of John Rettig, Martin had a long career as a painter and decorator for Rookwood Pottery.

Hurley exhibited at the National Academy of Design, Art Institute of Chicago, Panama Pacific Exhibition, and others. He was a decorator for Rookwood Pottery, and studied with Frank Duveneck at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

Cincinnati-born Charles Svendsen studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and the Academie Julian and Academie Colorossi in Paris. He painted murals in churches in Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo and Washington DC. He spent time in Munich working out of John Hauser's studio.

This listed Cincinnati artist worked almost exclusively in landscapes. He exhibited his works at the Art Institute of Chicago and Pennsylvania Academy, and was a member of the Society of Independent Artists and the Cincinnati Art Club.

George Dinckel studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati under Frank Duveneck and L.H. Meakin, and pursued further studies in Europe.

Born in Indianapolis, Townsend studied privately under William Forsyth, and later at the John Herron Art School and the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
