Two bronzed classical draped lady statues, 58"h, each holding a torch aloft, one carrying cattails, one carrying wheat shocks, each with matching wreaths in their hair, both in dramatic wind blown gowns with fancy belts. French foundry wafer marks, wheat girl has tag reading La terre, Par lequien (sculpt), cattail girl tag reads L'eau, Par lequien (sculpt), wonderful bronze patina, bases have nice details with rocks and water, fancy belts, base diameter 14". Condition: repair to forearm of wheat girl, and lower tip of cattail girl's torch is cracked. 10,000-15,000 |

Austrian bronze arab-tent lamp, classic tall form with seated arab and coffee on bed of coals to interior, crescent finial over domed roof with four clover leaf windows in alternating red and yellow glass, base impressed MADE IN AUSTRIA, back impressed GESCHUTZT, 13.75"h x 8"w x 6.5"d. Condition: appears to be in original paint, showing some wear; finial bent; missing shield and weapons that hang on left side of door; missing tassels from right of door; seam between floor rug and right wall is loose. 5,000-7,000 |
